About This Project
The Waterford Town Hall project is a mixed-use and retail project located in Brunswick County, NC. Designed as a leasable retail/office space, Fluhrer Reed’s engineers designed a portion of the roof to be a “mechanical zone” with loads estimated for future rooftop mechanical equipment. Anticipating future mechanical loads can save the owner and tenants money by potentially reducing the need to reinforce the roof structure at a later date for added rooftop loads.
